The Metropolitan Police Department/Federal Bureau of Investigation Violent Crimes Task Force announced today a suspect has been arrested in a bank robbery that occurred in the 1300 block of Connecticut Avenue, NW.
At approximately 10 am on Friday, December 28, 2012, a suspect entered the SunTrust Bank in the 1300 block of Connecticut Avenue. The suspect presented a note to the teller and demanded money. The teller complied and gave the suspect an undetermined amount of US currency. The suspect fled in the direction of Dupont Circle Metro station.
Second District Patrol officers apprehended the suspect, who was charged with Robbery Fear. Arrested was 57-year-old Scott Lee Feuer of Southeast, DC. Detectives are investigating whether the suspect may have been involved in other offenses.
