The Metropolitan Police Department has announced an arrest has been made in connection with an Assault with Intent to Kill incident in which 13 people were injured as a result of the gunfire in the 1200 block of North Capitol Street, NW.
On Monday, March 11, 2013, approximately 2:10 am, two vehicles of interest were captured by surveillance video as they drove by a building in the block. Occupants of at least one vehicle fired shots into a group of individuals on the sidewalk.
On Friday, March 15, 2013, 19-year-old Craig Steven Wilson of Southeast DC, was arrested by members of the Capital Area Regional Fugitive Task Force, pursuant to a DC Superior Court arrest warrant charging him with Assault with Intent to Kill.
The vehicle that police were searching for has been located.
The person of interest who is shown below and is identified as 19-year-old Andrew Davon Allen is still being sought for questioning. He is described as a black male, 5-feet-eight inches tall, 150 pounds, brown eyes, black hair, with a medium complexion.
