Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Fourth District have announced an arrest has been made in reference to an Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Knife) offense that occurred in the 5000 block of Fort Totten Drive, Northeast, on Sunday, March 11, 2018.
At approximately 8:28 pm, the victim and suspect were engaged in a verbal dispute at the listed location. During the dispute, the suspect brandished a knife and stabbed the victim multiple times. The suspect was apprehended by responding officers. The victim was transported to an area hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.
On Sunday, March 11, 2018, 24 year-old Jesus Gurrero, was arrested and charged with Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Knife).
