Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Sixth District announced an arrest has been made in reference to an Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Gun) offense that occurred in the 5500 Block of Eads Street, Northeast, on Sunday, December 26, 2017.
At approximately 8:27 pm, the victims were walking, at the listed location, when they were approached by two suspects in a vehicle. One of the suspects became verbally aggressive, brandished a handgun, and pointed it at the victims. The suspects then fled the scene.
On Thursday, January 11, 2018, pursuant to a DC Superior Court arrest warrant, 41 year-old Tequila Danette Holmes, of Northeast, DC, was arrested and charged with Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Gun).
This case remains under investigation.
