Additional Arrest Made in Homicide: 13th and Van Buren Streets, Northwest

(Washington, DC)- Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Homicide Branch have announced an additional arrest has been made in a homicide.  On Monday, March 30, 2015, at approximately 2:36 am 34 year-old Antonio Ayala of Northwest, DC was found shot at the intersection of 13th and Van Buren Streets, Northwest.  He was transported to a local hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead.

On Thursday April 9, 2015, at approximately 5:50 pm 23-year old Ammaad Chase-El of Northwest, DC was arrested pursuant to a DC Superior Court arrest warrant.  He has been charged with First Degree Felony Murder.
