Abduction Investigation in the 2500 Block of Pennsylvania Avenue, SE

Police are seeking information in a possible abduction.

The Metropolitan Police Department is investigating a possible abduction in the 2500 block of <?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags" /?>Pennsylvania, Avenue SE.

Surveillance video shows a male subject apparently forcing a female into a vehicle against her will. The incident occurred just before 11 pm on Sunday, August 8, 2010. The female appears to be approximately 5 feet 6 inches tall, weighing 145 to 150 pounds. She has shoulder length hair and was wearing a black shirt, dark shorts and dark colored shoes.


The male subject appears to be a black male, standing at approximately 6 feet tall, weighing approximately 160 pounds. He was wearing a white tank top and dark pants. The suspect forced the female into a blue Dodge Charger.


The Metropolitan Police Department is seeking to identify any of the individuals involved, both the male and the female, or anyone with information concerning the incident.
