On Saturday, November 7, 2009, at approximately 8:59 pm, Rufina E. Hernandez was shot and killed during an apparent robbery of La Casa De Morata Liquors, located at 5421 Georgia Avenue, NW. The Metropolitan Police
On Saturday, November 6, 2010, at approximately 3:30 am, Kelvin Jamal Willis was stabbed in the rear alley of the unit block of Hanover Place, NW. He died on November 22, 2010, as a result of these injuries.
On Monday, November 2, 2009, at approximately 9:11 PM, members of the Third District, PSA 301, received a call for an unconscious person inside 3636 16th Street, NW. Upon arrival, officers discovered the victim, Nora Amaya, unconscious in her apartment.
On Saturday, October 31, 2009, at about 8:30 pm, James Clinton Harris was found stab to death in the 3700 block of 1st Street, SE. Early Sunday morning, November 1, 2009, Mr. Harris’ vehicle, a 2002, black 2 door Mercedes Benz, CLK320, was found in the 3600 block of Horner Place, SE.
On Friday, October 30, 2009, at approximately 4:29 am, MPD Sixth District Patrol units received a radio assignment for a shooting in Northeast DC. Responding officers canvassed the area and located Robert Aren Eagleman alongside 4434 Hunt Place, NE. He had been shot and died from his wounds.
