On Saturday, July 12, 2008, at approximately 11:41 pm, Harvey Cobb was shot and killed in the 5100 block of 7th Street, NW. A second victim also found suffering from apparent multiple gunshot wounds was taken to an area hospital and admitted in critical condition. A third victim was reportedly treated on the scene by emergency medical personnel for an apparent graze wound to the head. The Metropolitan Police Department seeks the public’s assistance in gathering information regarding this incident.

The case is under investigation by members of the Department’s Criminal Investigation Division Homicide Branch.
