The Metropolitan Police Department seeks the community’s assistance in identifying three suspects and a vehicle involved in a robbery in Northwest.
On Wednesday, August 14, 2024, at approximately 12:45 a.m., the suspects approached the victim in the 700 block of Newton, Place, Northwest. One of the suspects brandished a firearm while a second suspect stole the victim’s moped. A third suspect took the victims call phone before all three suspects fled the scene. The victim was unharmed during the robbery.

Anyone who can identify this vehicle, these suspects or who has knowledge of this incident should take no action but call police at (202) 727-9099 or text your tip to the Department's TEXT TIP LINE at 50411. The Metropolitan Police Department currently offers a reward of up to $10,000 to anyone who provides information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for a crime committed in the District of Columbia.
