Suspect Sought in Shooting: 1400 Block of V Street, NW

The Metropolitan Police Department is seeking the publics’ assistance in attempting to locate and identify a suspect who was involved in a shooting which occurred in the 1400 block of <?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags" /?>V Street, NW.

On Thursday, April 21, 2011, at approximately 2:30 pm, a shooting occurred in the 1400 block of V Street, NW. Two victims were transported to local area hospitals with non-life threatening injuries. The suspect is described as a black male with a dark complexion, in his early 20s, wearing a black hat and blue pants.

Additionally, anonymous information may be submitted to DC CRIME SOLVERS at 1-866-411-TIPS and to the department’s TEXT TIP LINE by text messaging 50411. If the information provided by the caller to the Crime Solvers Unit leads to an arrest and indictment, that caller will be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000.
