Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department‘s Homicide Branch are currently investigating the death of a man that occurred on 13th Street, NW. <?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /?>

At approximately 5:20 am on Friday, May 21, 2010, officers from the Fourth District responded to a residence in the 6600 block of <?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags" /?>13th Street, NW, for the report of an unconscious person. Upon arrival, officers discovered a male lying inside of the residence.

Personnel from the DC Fire and Emergency Medical Services Department could find no signs consistent with life. He was later pronounced dead by a member of the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner for the District of Columbia.
