At approximately 11:25 pm on Tuesday, May 15, 2007, police were called to the alley next to 2432 Irving Street, SE, for the report of a shooting.  Upon arrival officers located 49-year-old Audrell Maurice McMillian, of the 600 block of Cabin Creek Drive, in Hopewell, Virginia, suffering from an apparent gunshot wound to the body. He was taken to the Prince George’s County Hospital Center and pronounced dead at 12:19 am.

The above case was closed on Thursday, July 5, 2007, with the arrest of 41-year-old Donald Lewis of the 2300 block of Hartford Street, SE. He was charged with Murder One While Armed.
