On Saturday, September 9, 2006, at approximately 12:33 am, Walter T. Jones Jr., aka “Baba-Lu,” was stabbed and killed in the 3300 block of E Street, SE. The Metropolitan Police Department seeks the public’s assistance in gathering information regarding this incident.
On Friday, September 1, 2006, at approximately 1:32 pm, Michael Fye was shot and killed in the 5000 block of Rock Creek Church Road, NE. The Metropolitan Police Department seeks the public’s assistance in gathering information regarding this incident.
On Thursday, August 31, 2006, at approximately 6:25 pm, Sean Andre Stevens was found stabbed and killed in an apartment building at 3826 2nd Street, SE. The Metropolitan Police Department seeks the public’s assistance in gathering information regarding this incident.
On Sunday, August 27, 2006, at approximately 2 am, Charlie Evans was shot and killed in the 4300 block of 1st Street, NE. The Metropolitan Police Department seeks the public’s assistance in gathering information regarding this incident.
On Thursday, August 24, 2006, at approximately 11:45 pm, Cynthia Grey was shot and killed in front of 4639 block of Benning Road, SE. During the course of the shooting, Ms. Grey took the heroic action of placing a 7-month-old baby under a car to ensure he wasn’t hit by any crossfi re.
On Saturday, August 19, 2006, at approximately 4 pm, David Fuller was found in a 2003 Cadillac Escalade (pictured right) in the 7800 block of 14th Street, NW. He had been shot and killed.
At approximately 12:05 am, on Saturday, August 12, 2006, police were called to the 1400 block of Fairmont Street, NW, to investigate the trouble. Upon arrival offi cers located 25-year-old Terran Miller, of the 1400 block of Fairmont Street, NW, suffering from apparent severe head injuries.
On Wednesday, August 10, 2006, at approximately 2 am, James Michael Wright Jr. was stabbed and killed in the 1800 block of Wiltburg Place, NW. The Metropolitan Police Department seeks the public’s assistance in gathering information regarding this incident.

On Saturday, August 5, 2006, at approximately 6:15 am, Harold Taylor was shot and killed in at 2339 Pitts Place, SE. The Metropolitan Police Department seeks the public’s assistance in gathering information regarding this incident.
