On Sunday, August 7, 2005, at approximately 2:50 am, Lamont Watkins, a.k.a. “ATL,” was shot to death in the rear of the 3700 block of 7th Street, NE. The Metropolitan Police Department seeks the public’s assistance in gathering information regarding this incident.
On Monday, August 7, 2005, at approximately 3:40 am, police were called to the 2900 block of Knox Place, SE, for the report of a shooting. Upon arrival, they discovered the victim, William McDuffie, suffering from gunshot wounds.

On Saturday, July 30, 2005, at approximately 4:15 am, Samari Young was shot and killed in the 400 block of Kennedy Street, NW. The Metropolitan Police Department seeks the public’s assistance in gathering information regarding this incident.
On Saturday, July 16, 2005, at approximately 3:00 am, Esayas Gebeyhu was assaulted in the 1900 block of 12th Street, NW. Mr. Gebeyhu was transported to the hospital, where he died Tuesday, July 26 of his injuries.
