On Tuesday, May 23, 2005, at approximately 10:15 pm, William Jones was shot and killed in the 400 block of Newcomb Street, SE. The suspect in this shooting is described as a black male wearing a dark-colored security guard uniform wth a white shirt.
At approximately 1 am on Saturday, May 14, 2005, police were called to the 6500 block of Eastern Avenue, NE, for the report of a shooting.
