Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department's Third District seek the public’s assistance in identifying and locating a vehicle in reference to an Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Gun) offense that occurred on Monday, January 31, 2022, in the 1300 block of New Jersey Avenue, Northwest.
At approximately 8:10 am, the suspects and the victim were involved in a traffic accident at the listed location. The suspects exited their vehicle brandishing a handgun and pointed it at the victim. The suspects fled the scene.
The suspects’ vehicle is described as a silver Lexus. It was last seen bearing a DC tag on the rear. The vehicle was captured by a nearby surveillance camera and can be seen in the photo below:
