Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department's Third District seek the public’s assistance in locating a vehicle in reference to an Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Gun) offense that occurred on Monday, October 24, 2022, in the 2000 block of 5th Street, Northwest.
At approximately 5:54 pm, members of the Third District responded to the listed location for the report of a shooting. Upon arrival, members located one juvenile male victim suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. The victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
The suspect’s vehicle is described as possibly being a black 2023 Kia Sorento. It was last seen bearing Florida license plates EVVW13. The vehicle was captured by a nearby surveillance camera and can be seen in the photos below:
