Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department's First District seek the public’s assistance in identifying a vehicle in reference to an Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Gun) offense that occurred on Wednesday, August 25, 2021, in the 1100 block of H Street, Northeast.
At approximately 3:34 pm, First District officers responded to the listed location for the report of a shooting. Upon their arrival, officers located an adult male victim suffering from a gunshot wound. DC Fire and Emergency Medical Services responded to the scene and transported the victim to an area hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries. As a result of the detectives’ investigation, it was determined the victim was in possession of a firearm and exchanged gunfire with the occupants of a vehicle. A firearm was recovered on the scene.
On Wednesday, August 25, 2021, 21 year-old Dylan Blake Oliver, of Mitchellville, MD, was arrested and charged with Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Gun), Carrying a Pistol without a License, Destruction of Property, and Possession of a Large Capacity Ammunition Feeding Device.
The case remains under investigation. The suspects’ vehicle was captured by a surveillance camera and can be seen in the photos below. The vehicle is described as a white, 4-door Mercedes Benz E class. The vehicle has gunshot damage to the passenger side and can be seen in the photos below:

The Metropolitan Police Department currently offers a reward of up to $10,000 to anyone who provides information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for a violent crime committed in the District of Columbia.
