Traffic Advisory: Washington Nationals Opening Season Games

The Metropolitan Police Department wishes to advise the public of the road closures associated with the Washington Nationals opening season games.

The following streets will be closed on the dates and times listed below:

Street Closures

  • Half Street, SE, between M Street, SE, and N Street SE
  • N Street, SE, between South Capitol Street, SE, and First Street SE

Dates

  • Friday, March 29 (Exhibition Game): road closures will be in effect from 11 am (three hours prior to the start time), until up to two hours after the game ends.
  • Monday, April 1 (Opening Day): roads will be closed starting at 6 am prior to this game, and will remain closed until up to two hours after the game ends.
  • For the 2013 Nationals home schedule: road closures will be in effect for each home game for three hours prior to the start time and continuing up to two hours after the game ends.
