Traffic Advisory: International Monetary Fund/World Bank Complex

This is to advise the public of the road closures and parking restrictions during the IMF/World Bank. Street closures will begin Friday, April 19, 2013, from approximately 6:30 am, through Sunday, April 21, 2013, until approximately 7:00 pm, the streets surrounding the IMF/World Bank will be closed as stipulated below:

 

  • 19th Street, NW – from G Street to Pennsylvania Avenue, NW                           
  • H Street (southern side) – from 18th Street to 20th Street, NW

The following streets will remain open with temporary closures beginning Friday, April 19, 2013, at approximately 8:00 pm, through Sunday, April 21, 2013, at approximately 7:00 pm.

 

  • 18th Street, NW – from G Street to Pennsylvania Avenue, NW
  • 20th Street, NW – from G Street to Pennsylvania Avenue, NW
  • G Street – from 18th Street to 20th Street, NW
  • H Street (southern side) – from 18th Street to 20th Street, NW

Due to the heavy pedestrian crowds associated with these events, motorists are encouraged to exercise caution when traveling in these areas.  In addition, those wishing to attend these events are encouraged to use public transportation.

Note: The surrounding areas and streets leading to this event may be closed or affected as well.
