TRAFFIC ADVISORY: DDOT’s Open Streets

On Saturday, June 4, 2022, the DC Department of Transportation’s Open Streets event will take place in the District of Columbia. In conjunction with this event, there will be parking restrictions and street closures that motorists should take into consideration:

 

Emergency No Parking

 

The following street will posted as Emergency No Parking on Saturday, June 4, 2022 from 12:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.:

 

  • 7th Street between Florida Avenue and Pennsylvania Avenue, NW

 

Street Closure

 

The following street will be closed to vehicle traffic for public safety on Saturday, June 4, 2022 from approximately 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.:

 

  • 7th Street between Florida Avenue and Pennsylvania Avenue, NW

 

Please note, vehicle traffic will not be able to cross 7th Street between Florida Avenue and Pennsylvania Avenue, NW from approximately 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.  Residents or visitors to the streets east or west of the event area will need to plan their routes to access their destination without crossing 7th Street.

All street closures and listed times are subject to change based upon prevailing or unexpected conditions.

 

The public should expect parking restrictions along the street and should be guided by the posted emergency no parking signage. All vehicles that are parked in violation of the emergency no parking signs will be ticketed and towed.
