The Metropolitan Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying and locating two suspects in connection with an armed robbery.
On Thursday, October 18, 2012 at approximately 9:55 pm the suspects entered the Lena Market located in the 1200 block of Underwood Street, NW and committed an armed robbery. The employee complied with the suspect and the suspects fled the location with an unknown amount of US currency.
The first subject is described as a black male, 34 years of age, medium complexion, and slim build, approximately 6’2” in height, black beard and mustache. He was last seen wearing a green T-shirt over a black long sleeve shirt, dark jeans, tan loafer-style shoes and a tan canvas fishing-style hat.
The second suspect is described as a black male, 5’2” in height and medium build. He was last seen wearing a black stocking over his face, a green hooded zip-up jacket (with hood up), blue jeans and dark shoes.

Anyone with information that can assist in the identification of this subject is asked to call the police at (202) 727-9099. Additionally, anonymous information may be submitted to the department’s TEXT TIP LINE by text messaging 50411. The Metropolitan Police Department currently offers a reward of up to $10,000 to anyone who provides information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for any robbery committed in the District of Columbia.
