Suspect Sought in Burglary in 1400 Block of Rhode Island Avenue, NE

On Thursday, September 27, 2012, and on Wednesday, October 3, 2012, a suspect burglarized the City Auto Service & Towing located in the 1400 block of Rhode Island Avenue, NE.

The Metropolitan Police Department’s Fifth District Detective’s Office is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying and locating a suspect in connection with a series of burglaries.
 
On Thursday, September 27, 2012, and on Wednesday, October 3, 2012, the below depicted suspect burglarized the City Auto Service & Towing located in the 1400 block of Rhode Island Avenue, NE.
 
The suspect is described as a black male, in his 40s or 50s, approximately 5’8” to 5’11” in height with a thin build, a short hair cut with black or black and grey hair, and a slight beard with a mustache.

The Metropolitan Police Department currently offers a reward of up to $1,000 to anyone who provides information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for any burglary committed in the District of Columbia.
