Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s First District seek the public’s assistance in locating a suspect in reference to an Assault with Intent to Kill (Gun) offense that occurred on Sunday, January 27, 2019, in the 800 block of H Street, Northeast.
At approximately 12:07 am, the victim and the suspect were engaged in a verbal dispute, inside of an establishment, at the listed location. During the dispute, the suspect brandished a handgun and shot the victim multiple times. The suspect then fled the scene. DC Fire and Emergency Medical Services responded to the scene and transported the victim to a local hospital for treatment of life threatening injuries.
