Suspect Sought in an Assault with Intent to Commit First Degree Sexual Abuse: 1500 Block of Morris Road, Southeast

The Metropolitan Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying and locating a suspect wanted in connection with an Assault with Intent to Commit First Degree Sexual Abuse which occurred in the in the area of the 1500 block of Morris Road, Southeast.

On Sunday, March 16, 2014, at approximately 12:15 am, an adult female, who was walking in the area of the 1500 block of Morris Road, SE, was approached by an unknown male who grabbed the victim around her neck and forced her behind a nearby school where he attempted to sexually assault her.  The victim fought off the attacker and she ran away from the scene.

The suspect is described as a black male, brown skin, in his thirties’, 5’7”, medium build, low haircut, wearing blue jeans and a white shirt.
