Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Sexual Assault Unit are seeking the public’s assistance in reference to a sexual assault which occurred in the unit block of K Street, Northeast.
On Sunday, September 23, 2012, a victim reported that she was walking in the area of 1st and K Street, Northeast, Washington D.C., at approximately 10:30 pm, when she was accosted by a male suspect who was armed with a handgun and forced her to the unit block of K Street, Northeast where he sexually assaulted her. Afterwards, the subject fled the scene of the assault.
