Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Sexual Assault Unit are seeking the public’s assistance in reference to a sexual assault and robbery, which occurred in the 2100 block of I Street, Northwest.
On Tuesday, December 4, 2012, at approximately 7:05 pm, a victim reported that while she was inside the bathroom of a building in the 2100 block of I Street, NW, an unknown male suspect entered the bathroom physically assaulted and robbed the victim of her property. Afterwards, the suspect fled the scene. During a follow up interview, the victim disclosed that she was also sexually assaulted by the suspect.
The suspect is described as an unknown male. The victim was unable to furnish any further suspect information.

The Metropolitan Police Department currently offers a reward of up to $10,000 to anyone who provides information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for any robbery committed in the District of Columbia.
