Persons of Interest Sought in Assault with Intent to Commit First Degree Sexual Abuse: Rear of the 7400 Block of 9th Street, NW

The Metropolitan Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying and locating two persons of interest in connection with an Assault with Intent to Commit First Degree Sexual Abuse which occurred in the rear of the 7400 block of 9th Street, NW.

On Wednesday, February 19, 2014 at approximately 5:30 pm, a juvenile female was walking in the area when she was approached by two unknown males. One of the suspects pushed the victim to the ground and attempted to sexually assault her. During the assault one of the suspects took property from the victim. Both suspects then fled.

The first suspect is described as a black male, dark complexion, 5’9” to 5’10” in height, 16 to 21 years old, last seen wearing unknown colored pants, black jacket, black skull cap, and black glasses. The second suspect is described as a black male.
