The Metropolitan Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying and locating a person of interest in connection with a bank robbery which occurred at the Capital One Bank, located at 701 Pennsylvania Avenue, NW, on Friday, March 29, 2013 at approximately 10:50 am.
The subject was captured by the bank's surveillance cameras as he entered the bank and approached a teller window.
The person of interest who is seen in the video is described as a black male, 40-50 years of age, 5'5"--5'7" tall. He was last seen wearing a waist-length black jacket, blue jeans, and a black baseball cap with a Raiders football patch on the front. He was further described as carrying a navy blue tote bag.

Anyone with information that can assist in the identification of this subject is asked to call the police at (202) 727-9099. Additionally, anonymous information may be submitted to the department’s TEXT TIP LINE by text messaging 50411. The Metropolitan Police Department currently offers a reward of up to $5,000 to anyone who provides information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for a bank robbery committed in the District of Columbia.
