Person of Interest Sought in Assault with Intent to Kill in the 2000 block of 14th Street, NW

The subject is described as a black male in his late 20s or early 30s, 5'10"-6'0" tall, 175-190 pounds, with light complexion and large bush hair style.

The Metropolitan Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in locating and identifying a person of interest in reference to an Assault with Intent to Kill incident, which occurred in the 2000 block of 14th Street, NW, on Saturday, January 19, 2013 at approximately 3:40 am. The subject is shown in the surveillance video below from a nearby restaurant just prior to the incident.

Anyone with information about this case is asked to call the police at (202) 727-9099. Additionally, anonymous information may be submitted to the department’s TEXT TIP LINE by text messaging 50411.  The Metropolitan Police Department currently offers a reward of up to $1,000 to anyone who provides information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for any assault committed in the District of Columbia.
