Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Homicide Branch are investigating the fatal shooting which occurred in the 800 block of Barnaby Street, SE.
On Saturday, August 4, 2012, at approximately 2:13 am units from the Seventh District responded for the report of a double shooting. Upon arrival, they located two victims who were suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. DC Fire and Emergency Medical Services personnel responded and transported both victims to a local hospital. The first victim was pronounced dead by a member of the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner. The second victim was admitted. The decedent is identified as 24 year-old Antwan Boseman of Southeast, Washington, DC. The Metropolitan Police Department currently offers a reward of up to $25,000 to anyone that provides information which leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons wanted for any homicide committed in the District of Columbia.
