Homicide at 3500 14th Street, NW

At approximately 3:30 am on Saturday, November 5, 2005, police were called to an apartment, located at 3500 14th Street, NW, for the report of a shooting.  Upon arrival they located 16-year-old Erica Anderson, of the 14th Street address, suffering from an apparent gunshot wound to the face. She was taken to the Washington Hospital Center's MedStar Unit and pronounced.

A subject was originally taken into custody but the case remains under investigation.
