Homicide in the 300 Block of Livingston Terrace, SE

At approximately 9:30 pm, on Wednesday, February 15, 2006, Metropolitan Police were called to the 300 block of Livingston Terrace, SE, for the report of a shooting.  Upon arrival officers located 27-year-old Bruce Warren, of the 3500 block of <?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags" /?>Hayes Street, NE, suffering from an apparent gunshot wound to the chest.  He was taken to the HowardUniversityHospital and pronounced dead.

This case is under investigation by members of the department's Violent Crimes Branch. Anyone with information about this case is asked to call police at (202) 727-9099.

The Metropolitan Police Department currently offers a reward of up to $25,000 to anyone who provides information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for any homicide committed in the District of Columbia.
