Homicide in the 300 Block of 37th Street, Southeast

(Washington, DC) – Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Homicide Branch are investigating a homicide that occurred in the 300 block of 37th Street, Southeast. On Monday, April 6, 2015 at approximately 7:42 pm members of the Sixth District received a call for the report of a shooting. Upon the units arrival, members located a juvenile male suffering from gunshot wounds.  He was transported to a local hospital where he succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead. 

The decedent has been identified as 16 year-old Luke Holt of Northeast, Washington, DC.
                                   
The Metropolitan Police Department currently offers a reward of up to $25,000 to anyone that provides information which leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons wanted for any homicide committed in the District of Columbia.
