At approximately 12:05 am, on Thursday, February 9, 2006, Metropolitan Police were called to alongside <?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags" /?>1368 Meridian Place, NW, for the report of a shooting. Upon arrival, officers located 33-year-old Ronald Taylor, of the 3500 block of 14th Street, NW, suffering from apparent multiple gunshot wounds to the body. He was taken to the WashingtonHospitalCenter's MedStar Unit and pronounced dead.
The case is under investigation by members of the department's Violent Crimes Branch. Anyone with information about this case is asked to call police at (202) 727-9099.
