On Saturday, August 19, 2006, at approximately 4 pm, Metropolitan Police and DC Fire and Emergency Medical Services personnel responded to the 7800 block of <?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags" /?>14th Street, NW, to investigate the report of trouble. Upon arrival, they located a male suffering from a gunshot wound to the head seated behind the wheel of a Cadillac Escalade. There were no signs consistent with life.

The decedent, identified as 24-year-old David Fuller, of the 4800 block of Jay Street, NE, was transported to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner for the District of Columbia.
The case is currently under investigation by detectives assigned to the MPDC's Violent Crimes Branch. Anyone who has information regarding this case is asked to call (202) 727-9099.
The Metropolitan Police Department is currently offering a reward of up to $25,000 for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for any homicide committed in the District of Columbia.
