Arrests Made in Multiple Burglary Offenses in the Fourth District

Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Fourth District announce two arrests have been made in reference to multiple Burglary offenses at the following locations:

 

  • Burglary Two: On Tuesday, October 9, 2018, at approximately 10:20 am, in the 700 block of Hamilton Street, Northwest, the suspect forcibly entered an unoccupied residence, took property then fled the scene. 18-171-443.

 

  • Burglary One: On Sunday, December 9, 2018, at approximately 2:08 am, in the unit block of Rittenhouse Street, Northeast, two suspects forcibly entered an occupied residence, took property then fled the scene. 18-208-723.

 

On Monday, January 28, 2019, pursuant to a DC Superior Court custody order, a 16-year-old juvenile male, of Northwest, DC, was arrested and charged with Burglary One and Burglary Two.

 

Previously, on Sunday, December 9, 2018, a 14-year-old juvenile female, of Northeast, DC, was arrested and charged with Burglary One in connection with the Sunday, December 9, 2018 offense.
