(Washington, DC) – Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department's Sexual Assault Unit announce an arrest has been made in reference to a First-Degree Sexual Abuse and Theft One (Stolen Auto) offenses that occurred on Tuesday, April 4, 2023, in the 2800 block of Buena Vista Terrace, Southeast.
At approximately 11:10 am, the suspect approached the victim who was seated in their vehicle, at the listed location. The suspect entered the vehicle, threatened the victim, and demanded the victim to their home. Once inside, the suspect assaulted the victim and engaged in forced sexual acts with the victim. The suspect then took the victim’s property and vehicle keys. The suspect fled the scene in the victim’s vehicle. The suspect was later apprehended by United States Secret Service officers.
On Tuesday, April 4, 2023, 29-year-old Andre Lucas, of Northwest, DC, was arrested and charged with First Degree Sexual Abuse and Theft One (Stolen Auto)
