Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department's Second District announce an arrest has been made in reference to Burglary Two offenses that occurred in the Second District.
- Burglary Two: On Sunday, January 16, 2022, at approximately 12:08 am, the suspect forcibly entered an establishment in the 1800 block of I Street, Northwest. Once inside, the suspect took property then fled the scene. CCN: 22006712
- Burglary Two: On Sunday, January 16, 2022, at approximately 12:40 am, the suspect forcibly entered an establishment in the 1700 block of M Street, Northwest. Once inside, the suspect took property then fled the scene. CCN: 22006717
- Burglary Two: On Sunday, January 16, 2022, at approximately 1:00 am, the suspect forcibly entered an establishment in the 1900 block of Q Street, Northwest. Once inside, the suspect took property then fled the scene. CCN: 22006749
- Destruction of Property/Unlawful Entry: On Sunday, January 16, 2022, at approximately 1:25 am, the suspect forcibly entered an establishment in the 1600 block of 20th Street, Northwest. The suspect then fled the scene. CCN: 22006747
- Burglary Two: On Sunday, January 16, 2022, at approximately 2:15 am, the suspect forcibly entered an establishment in the 2000 block of S Street, Northwest. Once inside, the suspect took property and fled the scene. CCN: 22006719
On Tuesday, January 18, 2022, 55 year-old Gabriel Wingila, of no fixed address, was arrested and charged with the above offenses.
