The Metropolitan Police Department has announced an arrest has been made in a Burglary One which occurred in the 3500 block of McKinley Street, NW.
On Wednesday, November 7, 2012, at approximately 12:30 pm, a suspect entered a residence in the 3500 block of McKinley Street, NW. Once inside, the suspect assaulted an adult female and stole a computer. The suspect was last seen fleeing on foot. The adult female was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
On Thursday, November 8, 2012, 18-year-old Tyran Mcelrath of Southeast, DC was arrested in the 1800 block of Savannah Street, SE and charged with Burglary One.
