Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Fourth District have announced an arrest has been made in reference to an Assault with a Dangerous Weapon offense that occurred in the 3900 block of 14th Street, Northwest, on Monday, September 9, 2018.
At approximately 3:16 am, the victim and suspect were involved in an argument at the listed location. During the argument, the suspect struck the victim with a glass bottle and then fled the scene. DC Fire and Emergency Medical Services responded to the scene and transported the victim to a local hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.
On Wednesday, January 9, 2019, pursuant to a DC Superior Court arrest warrant, 20-year-old Carlos Gonzalez-Berroa, of Hyattsville, MD, was arrested and charged with Assault with a Dangerous Weapon.
