Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Fourth District announce an arrest has been made in reference to an Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Knife) offense that occurred on Tuesday, January 22, 2019, in the 4500 block of Kansas Avenue, Northwest.
At approximately 10:27 am, members of the Fourth District responded to a school, at the listed location, for the report of a stabbing. Upon arrival, members located a juvenile male, inside of the school, suffering from a stab wound. DC Fire and Emergency Medical Services responded to the scene and transported the victim to an area hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries. The suspect was apprehended by responding officers.
On Tuesday, January 22, 2019, a 17-year-old juvenile male, of Northwest, DC, was arrested and charged with Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Knife).
