Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department's Seventh District announce an arrest has been made in reference to an Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Gun) offense that occurred on Wednesday, July 5, 2023, in the 3900 Block of Martin Luther King Jr. Avenue, Southeast.
At approximately 3:47 pm, the suspect was involved in an argument with an individual at the listed location. During the argument the suspect brandished a handgun and pointed it in the direction of the victim. The victim did not report any injuries. Responding officers apprehended the suspect. During the arrest, a handgun was recovered from the suspect.
On Wednesday, July 5, 2023, 41-year-old Antoine Miller, of Southeast, DC, was arrested and charged with Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Gun) and Carrying a Pistol Without a License.
