Volunteer Eligibility
To participate in the Metropolitan Police Department’s Citizen Volunteer Corps, applicants must:
- Be 18 years of age or older (16 years of age or older with parental consent);
- Have a High School education or the equivalent;
- Live within the District of Columbia Metropolitan Area;
- Have no criminal record, excluding minor traffic violations; and
- Have skills needed and identified by the Metropolitan Police Department.
