Strategic Services Bureau - Marketing and Design Unit

Introduction: The Marketing Unit is responsible for all publications both print and web-based for the Metropolitan Police Department.  This unit handles daily newsletter publication and weekly community newsletters.  Additionally this unit handles design work for the department.

Location: 300 Indiana Avenue NW, Suite 4142, Washington, DC 20001

Schedule: The office is open Monday through Friday; 7:00 A.M. through 4:00 P.M. Flexible hours may be available.

Number of Citizen Volunteer Positions: One

Number of Intern Positions: One

Program Description: The intern/volunteer will work closely with staff members of this unit on marketing related items.  Depending on the skill set of the intern/volunteer they may assist with content writing, design creation, publication creation, updating content or many other needed tasks.  This is a very fast paced environment that can offer a student/volunteer excellent opportunities to learn hands-on.
