Reserves in Action

Reserve police officers contribute in almost every capacity within the Metropolitan Police Department. During 2011 the Reserve Corps contributed over 22,497 hours of service to the department. This service contribution is a savings of over $737,676.63 for the department.
Everyday reserve police officers are working in Washington DC helping to make the District a safer place to live, work and visit.
