Internal Affairs Bureau - Court Liaison Division

Introduction:  Court Liaison Division (CLD) serves as a liaison between all Law Enforcement Agencies operating in the District of Columbia.  To include: The United States Attorney’s Office & Office of the Attorney General. CLD is also tasked with ensuring the successful prosecution of all criminal cases which occurred in the District of Columbia from start to finish. (i.e. the initial investigation, preparing the case for court, gathering of evidence, testimony, sentencing, and among numerous other things.) 

All arrest occurring in the District of Columbia to include MPD and other law enforcement agencies such as: U.S. Capitol Police, U.S. Secret Service, FBI among other law enforcement agencies are processed thru CLD at some point or another.

Schedule:  The office is open Monday through Friday; 8:00 A.M. through 4:00 P.M.
