The Internal Affairs Bureau's Diversity and Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) Compliance Branch supports MPD’s efforts in providing a workplace free of discrimination. Any demeaning, derogatory, or abusive language, actions, and/or gestures relating to a person’s race, color, national origin, sex/gender, age, religion, disability, sexual orientation, harassment, or retaliation from participating in the EEO process is investigated by this Branch.
The Diversity and EEO Compliance Branch conducts investigations of EEO complaints and provides counseling and resolutions to include corrective action when appropriate. The Diversity and EEO Compliance Branch assists sworn and civilian MPD employees regardless of rank, title, or position.
