Important Message for Providers Regarding AmeriHealth Member IVR-Based Eligibility Verification
Beginning May 1, 2013, if you call the District of Columbia Medicaid eligibility IVR system (202) 906-8319 to verify the May 2013 eligibility of a member, you will hear that the member is eligible and enrolled with DC Chartered Health Plan. This means that the individual is an eligible member of AmeriHealth District of Columbia. The DC Medicaid eligibility verification system will be updated on or around May 19 to state that these members are enrolled with AmeriHealth District of Columbia.
