DC Technology Office Helps Bridge the Digital Divide in the District of Columbia
(WASHINGTON, D.C.) – The D.C. Office of the Chief Technology Officer (OCTO) held the District’s Spring 2013 Community Broadband Summit this past Saturday at Turkey Thicket Recreation Center. The Summit featured a video welcome by Mayor Vincent C. Gray, remarks by DC Chief Technology Officer Rob Mancini and Councilmember Kenyan McDuffie, expert workshops, and a panel discussion. This event—entitled Digital DC – Technology Matters!—is the District’s fifth Community Broadband Summit.
